Temporary Holds

Fares less than the hold amount

If the cost of your ride is less than the initial hold, our billing system will automatically refund the difference between the initial hold amount and your bill.

This automatic refund will be reflected on your billing statement 5-10 business days after your ride is complete.

Fares greater than the hold amount

If the cost of your ride is greater than the initial hold, the held amount is captured by our system, and a secondary amount is charged to account for the remainder of your bill.

For example: a €6 ride may be reflected on your billing statement as a €5 charge (the initial hold amount) and a €1 charge (the remainder of the bill).
